what’s in it Hocus Pocus Starbucks Frappuccino?
Since this movie is such a huge hit every year, there are three themed frappuccinos that have been featured in many Starbucks cafes. However, these witch frappes aren’t on the regular menu, which is all the more reason to copy them at home. You would have to tell the barista what is in each Hocus Pocus drink and that can be tricky so for my version of this Halloween drink I chose ‘The Mary’ to share with you.
The reason is that it seems to be the most popular. Probably because it’s like drinking a chocolate covered strawberry and who wouldn’t want that? Get the recipe below, and if you’re still interested in trying the others, here’s a cheat sheet on how to order them at Starbucks:
The Winifred Sanderson Frappuccino:
Start with a Grande Green Tea Frappuccino, to which add a pump of white mocha and a pump of mint syrup. After it’s combined, add the whipped cream on top and the inclusion of strawberries drizzled over the whipped cream.
The Mary Sanderson Frappuccino:
You have the recipe below, but here’s how to order it at Starbucks. Just a note: sometimes the Mary comes out lighter and creamier like my recipe and sometimes it comes out darker with bigger streaks of strawberry inclusion. It all depends on what you tell the barista. You can decide when you prepare to place the order. Start with a Grande Starbucks Strawberries and Crème Frappuccino, add strawberries, and instead of the regular sweetener, order white mocha. Before they pour the frappe into the Grande cup, have them drizzle the strawberry inclusion and mocha syrup in the bottom of the cup and up the sides of the cup. Next, pour the frappe into the cup and top with whipped cream. Drizzle more strawberry inclusion and mocha drizzle over whipped cream.
Sarah Sanderson’s Frappuccino:
It starts with a purple drink base in a Grande mug. Add additional berries. Ask the barista to substitute coconut milk for soy milk, you can substitute almond milk if you don’t like soy milk. Ask them to mix the drink twice. Add whipped cream and top that with a layer of ground ginger or ginger powder.
