Chicken Bahn Mi Burger Recipe


1. In a medium bowl, using gloved hands or a wooden spoon, mix all burger ingredients except canola oil until well blended. Shape into 4 large or 6 small patties. Place on a parchment lined baking sheet. Chill until ready to grill.

2. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.

3. Brush 1 side of each patty with canola oil. Place oil side down on grill. Cover; cook 3 minutes. Brush tops of patties with canola oil. Gently flip, cover and grill 3 minutes or until done. (Alternatively, fry the patties in a nonstick skillet or on a grill for 4 minutes on each side.)


1. In a small bowl, whisk together vinegar, sugar, and sesame oil until sugar dissolves. In another small bowl, combine mayonnaise and sriracha; add 1 tablespoon of the vinegar mixture. Just before serving, toss carrots, radishes, and cucumbers with remaining vinegar mixture.

2. Brush cut sides of sandwich rolls with sriracha mixture. Add patties, greens, and a dash of cilantro or mint. Serve with lime wedges and, if desired, jalapeƱo.
