when Davis was training for lady king, her trainer wanted her and the other women to gain more muscle on the set. To achieve this, Davis’s trainer, celeb trainer Gabriella McLain, fed her more food throughout the day.

“I didn’t want them to lose too much weight, I wanted them to gain muscle,” MacLaine told People Magazine. “So they were feeding five times a day, every three hours. They had to drink a gallon of water a day and they each had a different nutrition plan, which I designed.”
